Secondary Mineral forming on the footwall in the Dumbell's section of the mine 400 feet from the surface.

Timber man Steve Whittle takes a moment to study the different layers  formed from the zinc and the copper.

A strange and unknown mineral was found in the same area which has not yet been identified but a gas was observed bubbling through a small water filled hole in the center. Possibly methane from the decay of timbers in the lower levels.
