The remains of a mechanism for tipping a large kibble (bucket) was uncovered from the undergrowth next to the engine house.

Although the bucket has completely disappeared, the remaining ironwork is in very good condition and still functions.

It is highly probable that the shaft is within the building itself and would account for the sheave wheel and kibble remains being located so close.
