Group Members in front of the mill at Cornelly mine.

A small opening had been located and required investigation. The small gap under the pick was cleared to reveal the remains of a flue duct, probably belonging to the old engine house.

Consolidation of the buildings on the site have been in progress for the last few years and at some time in the future, the group are hoping to remove the rubbish from the engine shaft.
