Hans from Holland found the project so interesting that he
volunteered to help whilst visiting the Island for three weeks.

It is necessary to work from side to side in order
to keep the wheel in balance.

to fit all 226 back boards to complete the buckets.

It will be necessary to remove the crowns in
preparation for the installation of the aqueduct.

Above: Using a stone cutter Paul carefully cuts away at the
ornamental work. It has been decided to retain the
stone balls for later use in the project.
